Beaverton Youth Orchestra
When: Thursdays, 6:30-8pm beginning October 8, 2009
Where: Cedar Park Middle
School
Who: Available for Level 4+
students. Appropriate level middle
school and private lesson students welcome.
Violin, viola & cello.
What: Group
will practice in sectionals and as an entire orchestra.
Orchestra
will perform at least twice during the 2009-2010 year.
How Much: $400 if paid
by July 15; $425 if paid after July 15

The goal of the teachers is to create a fun environment in which kids can try out playing an orchestra together as a group. The violin, viola and cello are the chosen instrument for this course -- even though many kids go on to try other instruments later. This after school programs are intended to provide young students with an opportunity to make friends and create a self-identity -- "of being a musician".
Parents are encouraged to observe classes. Parents may participate with the permission of the instructor. To observe a class this year, please contact the instructor.
